The Michelin Man mascot – back by popular demand!
0Since the 1950s, the Michelin Man has been placed on the roof of trucks, much like a smiling guardian angel watching over drivers during their far-flung journeys to the four corners of the Earth. Proudly sat above the cabin of the lorry, this daring road companion has become a collectorÂ’s item and a brand icon for Michelin.
In 2015, Michelin Lifestyle re-introduced the popular mascot for the interior of truck cabins. Now, he is also available for the exterior of truck cabs.
Launched to the trade at the IAA event in Hanover in September, his new pose has global appeal validated by Michelin Group and tested independently. Made from polypropylene it is supplied with brackets for affixing to the vehicle and also features an authenticity stamp and a unique serial number so you know you have the real deal.
The product will be available to truck drivers from next year, so next time you are driving the highways or stuck in traffic, look out for the Michelin Man watching over you.
