Salewa Ultra Train GTX wins ISPO “performance” award

Every year ISPO, the international sports goods fair held in Munich, honours the most exceptional sporting goods with the ISPO Award, seen as one of the most coveted prizes in the outdoor industry.

ISPO attracts more than 2,600 international exhibitors and over 80,000 visitors from 110 countries and their jury consists of independent sports business professionals who evaluate several hundred entries.

This year the Ultra Train GTX by SALEWA won the “performance” award for best trail running shoe.

SALEWA Ultra Train GTX features a MICHELIN outsole which has been developed using technology derived from the MICHELIN Country Mud and MICHELIN Country Dry mountain bike tyres. Lower and longitudinal flex grooves, small sculptures and the MICHELIN Outdoor Compound combine to provide outstanding traction and stability over hard and mixed terrain.
