Northwave Provide Cycle Shoes for Charity Cycle Ride in Tanzania

The Michelin cycle team recently cycled from Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro in aid of the Transaid charity – wearing Northwave cycle boots with a MICHELIN technical sole, which were kindly supplied by Northwave and JV International.

The Northwave Spider Plus 2 X Crossbow has a MICHELIN technical sole which is inspired by the MICHELIN Country Mud and MICHELIN Country Trail tyres – perfect for the terrain which the Michelin cycle team encountered!

It all started on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro

The once in a life time cycling adventure, covered around 400km in just five days, taking in two of Africa’s most stunning landmarks – Mount Kilimanjaro and the Ngorongoro Crater. It all started on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, experiencing a whole range of road surfaces from smooth tarmac to dirt tracks to sand, and finishing in the safari paradise of the Ngorongoro Crater.
