New Etnies Marana Skateboard Shoe 3x More Durable With Michelin Outsoles

Etnies, the pioneering brand in skateboarding footwear, now boasts one of the most durable skate shoes on the market, thanks to the addition of a Michelin outsole

Before, skaters found the upper of the original Marana shoe were lasting longer than the sole but recent tests show the new etnies Marana, equipped with Michelin outsoles, is now three times more durable than the original.

etnies joined forces with the designers at Michelin to translate the performance and durability found in Michelin PC00 rally tyres, into long-lasting, light and slip-resistant footwear, which offer unmatched, precision and maximum flexibility for a superior board feel.

A unique combination of tread design and specially formulated compounds perfectly respond to the needs of the most demanding skateboarders, including pro skater Chris Joslin, who contributed first hand to the project and featured in a promotional video filmed at Michelin’s test facility in North America.
