MLL present ‘TYRES to Soles’ at Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the largest event for car and motorsport enthusiasts in the UK attracting over 230,000 visitors from all around the world.

Visitors come to see the latest cars and products on offer by the sponsors and car manufacturers, and to watch thrilling racing and car and bike demonstrations on the track. Amongst the visitors are famous racing drivers and celebrities who can be seen wandering the supercar and bike paddocks.

This year’s event from 29^th June to 2^nd July was again sponsored by Michelin in the UK and MLL were invited to showcase a range of high performance footwear to demonstrate how the technology and know-how Michelin have in tyres can be transferred to other products.

The following shoes were displayed together with the MICHELIN tyre which inspired their design:

• Under Armour Speed Tyre Ascent – Super lightweight  trail running shoe featuring Fiber Lite technology – Inspired by MICHELIN Wildgripper
• Chaud Devant GT1 Pro Magister – Shoe for professional chefs with both style and substance – Inspired by MICHELIN Stargrip cycle tyres
• Babolat Fury – Tennis shoe for explosive players who need extra support
