Michelin lifestyle stage impressive presence at leading global automotive trade fair
0Automechanika Frankfurt is the leading global automotive car components, parts and accessories trade fair. Held every 2 years it fills 9 Halls and 500,000m2 of the German Exhibition Centre.
This year 4,820 companies exhibited and it attracted 136,000 visitors from 170 countries.
Michelin Lifestyle had a 100 m2 booth in the Accessories & Customizing category.
13 Licensees from Europe, N America and China, along with the Michelin Lifestyle European team, exhibited over 200 different Michelin products including the new SOS Grip snow socks, Easy Grip Evolution snow chains and a new range of tyre pressure and tread depth gauges. Car cleaning products, wiper blades, car mats, torches and pressure washers were also amongst the product selection.
Over 200 new leads from distributors interested in selling the Michelin branded products worldwide were generated, which ultimately brings new visibility for Michelin as a brand in products (other than tyres) which are used day to day and replaced more frequently.
Who knows, the man who was quickly helped to safety by using Michelin Tyre Sealant on his puncture, might also consider buying Michelin tyres next time!
