0In August the Michelin Lifestyle website reached a total of 1 Million users during the year to date! With 1.6 million sessions and 3.8 million page views, that means most visitors are looking at 3-4 pages per session and we think that’s an amazing achievement, with over 200% growth compared to the same period in 2020.
A further 51,000+ people clicked on a ‘where to buy’ link and over 28,000 people clicked on a ‘buy on-line’ link which shows an increase in sales conversion and a drive towards buying on-line.
Pylon, Koolatron, Schrader, Atlas Copco and Impex were the top 5 licensees with the most impressions on their product pages.
Why are we seeing this success?
It’s largely thanks to the investment from some licensees who use promotional campaigns to drive traffic to the website, using dedicated landing pages to target the needs of their consumers, answer questions, tell them how to use the product, what size they will need, and most importantly, where to buy it.
For example, when Michelin wiper blades were made available in Costco in Canada, the below page was created and Pylon used the url in their promotional materials, ad campaigns, in-store POS, etc:
