Meet Guilherme Nigri
0Guilherme Nigri is the latest addition to the MLL global team. Based in Michelins Rio office, he is the Regional Manager for South America, responsible for Marketing and Communications and the overall growth of the brand licensing business in that region.
Guilherme started life at Michelin as a marketing trainee in the year 2000. He then went on to spend 10 years working with the earthmover product line, including 3 years in Europe, and then 6 years as a Business Segment Manager for the Truck & Bus product line.
What are your key priorities for 2017?
Getting new licensees in South America and business growth with the current ones. To launch Michelin car care products in Brazil and to promote the Michelin brand with differentiated products that carry the Michelin values and attributes such as innovation and quality.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Interacting with a diverse and multi-cultural team and exploring the Michelin brand outside of the tyre world.
What is the biggest challenge?
Working in a zone with a lot of potential but with political and economical challenges for our licensees and customers.
What do you like to do out of work?
Play the saxophone, play with my 2 kids, travel and explore new places and restaurants
