Michelin Lifestyle has been working for the last 18 months to improve its online presence. We have created a strategy which identified the need to develop the following:

  • Michelin-lifestyle.com
  • a Resource website for Retailers
  • an Extranet site for Michelin Lifestyle Licensees
  • a Michelin Lifestyle Intranet site
  • a social media presence

Over the coming months, Michelin Lifestyle, with the help of its licensees in certain instances, will promote these online tools to the relevant stakeholders.

The completed site will showcase over 700 MICHELIN-branded products

Michelin-lifestyle.com is currently in the final stages of development. It will be launched in a phased approach throughout Q1 of 2014, with selected countries’ content being ‘switched-on’ first. It will promote MICHELIN vehicle accessories and incorporate the already launched MICHELIN footwear website. Michelin-lifestyle.com will be a global consumer facing website and will:

  • Support a higher search engine ranking.
  • Position MICHELIN as an ‘authority’ in the product segments.
  • Be more logical for consumers.
  • Facilitate cross-selling.

The completed site will showcase over 700 MICHELIN-branded products from 35 licensees around the world. And give advice on things such as; maintaining the correct tyre pressure, changing your wiper blades and choosing the correct snow chains. It will also have a dedicated area on the homepage for Michelin product lines / entities to link to their websites – MLL will work with Michelin product lines / entities to reciprocate these links to michelin-lifestyle.com to aid the establishment of the website.
