InFocus – MLL ranked in Top 150 Licensors

Michelin Lifestyle (MLL) has been ranked at 79th in the Top 150 Global Licensors 2015 by License! Global Magazine. This is a 10 place jump from its position of 89th in 2014, which sees MLL go above Goodyear who in the same period have dropped one place from 87th to 88th!

The annual report ranks each Licensor by their ‘retail sales of licensed merchandise worldwide for licensors in the entertainment, sports, fashion/apparel, corporate, art and non-profit sectors’.

The world’s largest licensor is the Walt Disney Company with over $45 billion of retail sales which represents nearly 10% of the total retail sales for all 150 companies on the list.

For the Sports lovers; Major League Baseball came in at 8th in the list, with the NFL (American Football) at 16th and the NBA (Basketball) at19th.

And for those of you with a sweet tooth; the Hershey Company, the leading manufacturer of Chocolate in North America, came in at 41st and the Coca-Cola Company at 47th.
