MICHELIN footwear at Yellowstone

This summer, MLL has given over 100 pairs of MICHELIN boots to participants of Yellowstone’s service and education program (the Youth Conservation Corps) and visiting teenagers from the Park Journeys program. Since 2008, Michelin has been a corporate partner of the Yellowstone Park Foundation by equipping the National Park’s 800-vehicle fleet with tyres. But this year, Michelin is also fitting boots to teenagers who are walking many Yellowstone miles on foot. For many of these teenagers, it’s their first time experiencing an environment like Yellowstone, and some do not come prepared with adequate footwear – the donation of the MICHELIN boots enabled dozens of teenagers to take that step more prepared for the rugged environment they encountered.

Yellowstone National Park is America’s most famous National Park, with its 2.2m acres drawing in over three million visitors per year. It is well-known for its stunning mountain range, wildlife and active thermal features such as geysers like Old Faithful.
