MLL event participation in 2013

MLL has participated in a number of events throughout 2013. The most recent event was the AAPEX show in Las Vegas, USA, from 5th to 7th November. MLL were present on several of its licensees’ booths:

• Koolatron exhibited MICHELIN Snow Brushes/Ice Scrapers, Car Wash Accessories and the Winter Storm Kit
• Measurement Limited displayed the range of MICHELIN Tyre Pressure Gauges
• Pylon exhibited the MICHELIN Wiper Blades
• Remington Industries displayed MICHELIN Floor Mats, Inflators and Multi-tools

The Michelin Man was also present at the AAPEX show to give out leaflets directing people to the different licensee booths.

Another large event which MLL had a presence at was the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This is the largest UK event for car and motorsports enthusiasts and is held every July, over 4 days. On average, the show attracts 250,000 visitors, including more than 10% from outside of the UK.

This was a very successful event for both MLL and Michelin.

The aim for MLL at Goodwood was to raise visibility and awareness of MICHELIN-licensed products. There were two display cabinets featuring tyre pressure gauges, tyre inflators, foot pumps and the Stealth and Rainforce wiper blades on the Michelin booth. Consumers were also offered money-off coupons for MLL products available at Halfords, the leading UK automotive accessories retailer. This was a very successful event for both MLL and Michelin.

Other events in 2013 which MLL had a presence:

• MICHELIN products were recently exhibited on the Michelin booth at the Shanghai Auto Show.
• Annovi Reverberi presented MICHELIN Pressure Washers at SIMA Show – the 2nd largest Agricultural Trade Show in Europe, with over 200,000 visitors.
• MICHELIN products were exhibited at Feira Feicon by South American licensee, Cobimex in Sao Paolo, Brazil. The show was visited by over 125,000 people.
• MICHELIN Easy Grip composite snow chain and Babolat tennis and badminton shoes with Michelin technology were exhibited on the Michelin booth at the Frankfurt Motorshow.
• Rubber boots by Le Chemeau were displayed at SIMA Show. MLL exhibited the new range of rubber boots with the Michelin-designed sole on the Michelin stand.
• Mexican licensee, Comercer, presented new ranges of their shoes at the SAPICA show in August and November.
• MLL joined forces with the Michelin Technology Centre in Clermont Ferrand, France for an exhibition of its rubber technology collaborations. The exhibition was held in the Forum building at the Michelin headquarters in Clermont Ferrand.
