New Automotive Products and Packaging To Hit The Market
0UK automotive accessories licensee, Custom Accessories Europe (CAE), will shortly launch a new range of digital inflation and pressure monitoring products, as well as new exciting packaging designs. Heres what CAE managing director Simon King had to say about the new packaging designs:
What was the reason behind changing the designs?
We wanted something that was contemporary both visually and graphically, that focused on giving the product centre stage within the constraints of the pack. It needed to be neutral but iconic. We wanted to create an experience to purchasing and owning a Michelin inflator – something that would set these products apart from the competition. We spent a long time on creating the unique intellectual property for this inflation range so it was only right the packaging followed suite and was also unique.

What benefit do you think the new designs will bring?
We feel the fresh look will appeal to a wide demographic. The simpler layout is easier for the consumer to see immediately exactly what the product is and does. The intuitive icon buttons tell the consumer the main features with the subtext going into more detail. Shelf appeal is essential and the display is very strong from that perspective. You can’t help but notice this range on-shelf, in store. Essentially we want the new designs to be a global success!
When will these products and packaging be launched?
This October, plus the micro tyre inflator will be a special promotional item only the promotion period is still to be confirmed.
