MLL take to the slopes with Stephane Sarrazzin

We have already been busy planning for the next winter season by taking to the slopes of the French Alps to test our latest range of snow chain products.

At 2802m above sea level, the Michelin test facility in Barcelonette is the highest pass in Europe and closed to all vehicles except those authorised by Michelin for testing purposes, and the snow ploughs of course.

First week in February we were lucky to have a good snowfall which laid the foundations for perfect testing conditions on the mountain pass.

We invited Michelin sponsored racing driver, Stephane Sarrazin to help us. Stéphane is one of the most recognized French drivers worldwide, most recently competing in the 2016-2017 Formula E Championship, the 24 Hours Le Mans in which he finished 2^nd in 2016 and the FIA World Endurance Championship in which finished 3^rd in 2016.

We filmed Stephane driving using each of the 3 key snow chain products in the range: The new Michelin SOS Grip, Michelin Easy Grip and Michelin Extreme Grip.

A series of videos for use on websites, at POS and events and on social media will be available later in the year to illustrate the differentiation and performance of the products and to support both the sell-in and sell out of the products in Autumn/Winter 2017.
