New Look ”Truck Bib’ Hits The Road
0Michelin Lifestyle Limited has announced the launch of a new Michelin Man figurine commonly known as “Truck Bib – available to commercial drivers as well as members of the public.
The Michelin Man has been the symbol of the Michelin brand since 1898 and in the year 2000 was voted Best Logo Symbol of all time. A figure of the iconic Michelin Man was often seen displayed on the outside of commercial vehicles and was seen as the motorist’s companion.
Despite production ceasing some years ago, “Truck Bib”, as it is commonly known, is still one of the most asked for items by tyre dealers and consumers.
MLL is now delighted to announce the launch of a new Michelin Man figurine which can be displayed on the inside of vehicles, or in homes or offices.
The model stands 19cm high and is mounted on two Michelin truck tyres. It includes a highly adhesive sticky pad to mount securely it inside vehicles, on desks and other surfaces, avoiding the need for tools. The new figure is now available.
Using Twitter to promote the return of this iconic statue, the UK truck marketing team already has a campaign planned for its dealers in spring 2016, welcoming “Truck Bib” back to lorry cabs across the country!
